I'm Not Asking for Me

We have a vision for a vibrant community where all are nourished through access to food, mental wellbeing, and expression. Since June of 2022, we’ve been realizing that vision in the Rotterdam area, but we need your support to continue our work.

Your funds now will help us move forward with our vision and impact in new, different, and stronger ways as we continue to nourish our neighbors in mind, body, and soul, and serve as a community hub where all people can connect to the resources they need.

Here are some of the ways we nourish our neighbors:

• Our food pantry provides individuals in need with three meals for three days for each member of the household. In June 2024, our food pantry provided 1089 meals.
• We have weekly support groups as well as classes for self-improvement.
• Our free produce pantry distributes fresh fruits and vegetables, eggs, and bread to approximately 140 households each week.
• We offer community conversations and educational events.
• Our free monthly movie nights and coffeehouse events offer an opportunity for people to gather together at least twice a month.

Since opening our doors, the RCC has operated thanks to the support of donors, grants that support our services, and some financial support from Messiah Lutheran Church. Our plan has always been to become a separate, self-sustaining organization, and your support will help us do that.

We need your support in order to continue to grow in ways that meet the needs of the community! Your financial support will help us move forward in our vision and strengthen our ability to meet the needs of our neighbors!
